My Travel Beauty Go To Products

It seems a little weird to me to be discussing beauty products because I have a love/hate relationship with them and really think that everyone is so beautiful just as they are. You're so money and you don't even know it. That being said, I do have a couple stand by products that I bring with me time and time again even if I do want to give the man the finger and never put a cosmetic on my face.

All products are cruelty free and most are made with all natural, organic ingredients without any harmful chemicals.

1. Vitamin c serum and lotion. I very rarely use anything other than just plain Vitamin C Serum and sunblock on my face, but if my skin gets especially dry I will also apply some Intense Defense Facial Serum. I love both products and have used them for years and they are especially good for sensitive skin like mine.

2. Cream based blush. Ilia is a brand that really puts a lot of thought, time and attention into ensuring their quality products not only work well, but are ethically sustainable and created without harmful chemicals, dyes or fragrances. I use their multistick as an easy way to add some polish without feeling like a ventriloquist's dummy.

3. Korean mascara. I love trying new mascara because I have short, stubby asian eyelashes that need all the help they can get. There are several that I rotate through, but I will usually toss a tube of Fairy Drops Scandal Queen in my travel bag. It adds length and separation without clumping and is most importantly, easy on my eyes. Ever since I had laser eye surgery I feel like I am more sensitive to eye makeup and this one doesn't bother me.

4. Eyelash curler. I am not too picky on eyelash curlers - I have a couple floating around that I probably snagged out of my mom's makeup bag when I was 14, but these rose gold ones from Amazon are pretty.

5. Zum Rub. I got this in my stocking one year and it's a great all around shea butter moisturizer. Especially if I am hiking a lot in colder weather my hands and lips can get really chapped and this rub can even do double duty for scrapes, scars, rough knees/elbows, to smooth down frizzy hair, etc.
